~ RCL Branch 60 Colour Party ~ Contact Information Sgt Joan Chiarelli Murray Sutherland For over forty years the Burlington Legion Colour Party has been the most visible and recognizable reminder that every citizen has, of our veterans of days gone by. In every season - rain, shine, or snow, they have paraded proudly, carrying our flag, so every Canadian will always remember those who served, and lost life, or limb, allowing us to enjoy unparalleled freedom today. Yet our veterans too, are passing on, or finding the parade too onerous a task today. They'd dearly love to parade, and they're equally proud of those who do in their stead! A tremendous opportunity exists today for YOU to become a member of the Burlington Legion Colour Party and carry our flag proudly! The Colour Party recently placed first in Simcoe for Marching in the Warriors Day Parade, the latest in a long series of such honours. We are a kilted colour party in need of new members. Uniform at no cost, a small time commitment monthly, and for a small number of parades annually. Brush up those marching skills and come be a visible part of Branch 60. Why not have a chat with our recruiting officer, Barry Moyle, 905-235-9644. Visit this page on this website often - for upcoming dates and places where we will be parading. |
